Commercial hood cleaning questions
Answers for food-service operators in the Tampa–St. Petersburg–Sarasota market. Costs are typical ranges, not a bid. This site is a lead request page, not the hood cleaner and not the fire inspector.
What does a commercial hood clean usually cost in Tampa Bay?
A routine clean on a typical restaurant canopy is often roughly $250–$600. Heavy grease, long ducts, multiple hoods, or a packed rooftop fan can move to $600–$1,500+ . After-hours is normal. Those are typical ranges, not a quote from this page.
How often should we clean?
NFPA 96 ties frequency to cooking volume and fuel. Busy fry and solid-fuel lines are often monthly. Many ordinary restaurants are quarterly. Your inspector or insurer may require a tighter interval. We are not the inspector and will not assign your bucket from a form.
Do you issue a certificate?
This website does not. Some cleaners leave a sticker or a report. Ask the person who calls. A certificate from a company that only rinsed filters is not worth much to an inspector.
Is this the same as grease-trap service?
No. Traps and interceptors are a different trade. This page is hoods, fans, and grease ducts.
Can you come after we close?
That is how most kitchen exhaust work is done. Write the close time. We cannot book the slot. The provider who accepts the lead sets access with you. Do not send alarm codes on the form.
Do you serve only the City of Tampa?
No. St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Lakeland, and Sarasota have their own pages. A cleaner still decides travel, especially into Polk County or south to Sarasota.
Are you the hood cleaning company?
No. Independent cleaners already appear in local results. They are not our partners. A licensed local provider may contact you if they take the lead. You can decline.
What if we already have a cleaner on contract?
Usually stay with them. Use this page if you lost that route, need a catch-up after a finding, or do not have anyone. This experiment is not trying to raid an existing stop.
