Tampa Bay · the fan on the roof
Exhaust fan cleaning
The exhaust fan is where grease leaves the building. A hood filter swap that leaves the fan packed is not a complete clean. Request a visit that includes the fan. This page does not climb a roof.
What a real fan clean involves
The housing, blades, and the area under the fan where grease drops on the roof. A shaking fan, a stained roof, or a kitchen that stays hot because the fan cannot move air are the usual reasons someone asks for this specifically.
Write how you reach the fan (roof hatch, exterior ladder, neighboring unit). Do not send hatch codes.
Fan repair is not the same ticket
A cleaner can degrease a working fan. A burned motor, a collapsed hinge, or a missing hinge kit is repair or replacement. Say if the fan already failed. The lead may need a different trade after they look.
We will not invent a motor brand or a same-day replacement.
Typical cost — not a bid
Fan cleaning is often part of a hood job in the mid-hundreds. A neglected rooftop fan on a long horizontal duct can add time and price. Motor work is extra and is not a cleaning quote.
Coastal fans (Clearwater, St. Pete, Sarasota) also corrode. That is a condition to mention, not a surcharge we invented.
Filters only is a no
If you only want filters swapped, say that honestly so nobody drives for a full clean. This page is written for exhaust cleaning, not a box of filters in the mail.
